A580 Hans-Peter Moser
You asked me about the differences between the Condor A 580 and T 580. The A 580 was introduced in 1948. It is similar to the A 750. The only differences you find on the motor. The crankshaft and cylindres and piston are different. I think they changed the single exhaust in 1949 into a double exhaust like the one on the 580-I. There was always one civil version which was similar to the A 580. This was dark red, had chrome on the tank and the handlebar and the lable an the tank was round in stead of triangular. I think this version was called T 580 or T 750. Then there were many different models basing on the standard 580 like the TL 580. But I don't know enough about that. I will ask Dominik. The 580-I was completely new developped. The motor was quite similar but the gearbox had little differences. The frame was completely new, the tank etc.  The 580-I has a telescope suspension of the front and rear wheel. The 580 from 1948 has no rear suspension at all. There are a lot of little differences between the 580 and the 580-I. There must also have been a T 580-I but I have never seen one.

Greetings Hans-Peter
