send you a picture of my 1929 Condor Populaire. This one is a 350cc inlet
over exhaust model. 3 Speed gear box, gear shifted by hand. Mr. Schaller
of Condor confirmed, that this particular bike (frame no 61469) was sold
on 2nd of June 1929. This bike has a 350cc engine, type 1C14K8, no 401361.
Unfortunately is the riveted name plate missing, therefore I do not know,
if the original engine is fitted. But at least it is the right type of
engine for a 1929 Populaire, and also the engine number is a 1929 number.
Therefore this bike could be a very good reference bike. The only fault
on this bike is the Swiss flag on the petrol tank, that one is the wrong
way round.
